A step-by-step guide on customising your online will platform.
As a Gathered Here partner, you get to send your supporters a unique online will platform, customised with your organisation’s imagery and messaging.
This customisation helps reinforce your organisation’s mission and demonstrates how gifts in wills can help in real terms. You can even thank supporters for their generosity.
To do it, just log into the GMP and follow the steps below.
1. Log into the GMP. Here’s the link.
2. Navigate to Configuration. You can find it on the left hand side.
3. Choose Partner Settings. On the right hand side.
4. Choose Will Instance Configuration. That’s the second panel down.Once you’ve clicked on Will Instance Configuration, you’ll see a number of text boxes and areas to upload images. This is how you customise your online wills page.
The banner
The first element to customise the banner, which sits at the top of your online wills page. You’ll need to set the banner colour, the banner text and the text colour.
You’ll also need to upload a logo for the banner. Any orientation of your logo will work but landscape is ideal. For most logos, a transparent background works best but you can test various versions until you’re happy with how it looks.
The introduction
Your custom wills platform will also have an introductory title and text. This appears on the left hand side of the page and can be customised however you wish.
Some NFPs choose to thank their supporters, some communicate the value of gifts in wills, while others reinforce a particular goal or mission. It’s completely up to you!
The button
When setting up your online will platform in the GMP, you’ll also be asked to upload a button logo. This logo will appear further into the platform, when will-writers are asked if they would like to support your organisation.
